We have proudly completed IDEF 2025, the most prestigious event of our defence industry and the most significant reflection of the major strides our defence sector has made in recent years.

Held over six days at the Istanbul Expo Center, IDEF 2025 brought together 229 official delegations and 967 delegation members from 103 countries, 1,491 participating companies from 49 countries, 121,753 visitors from 114 countries, and showcased 1,157 new products.

The exhibition also hosted 6,301 scheduled meetings and 270 signing ceremonies, reaching an agreement volume of approximately USD 9 billion. IDEF 2025, which carried the unique synergy created by our Nation and State in the field of national defence onto the global stage, further strengthened its claim to be the most “inclusive” platform of the global defence industry market by bringing together participating companies, delegations, committees, and experts from different continents.

First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, whose visionary leadership made this success possible.

I extend my sincere thanks to our Ministry of National Defence and our Minister Mr. Yaşar Güler for their hosting and unwavering support; to the Defence Industry Agency, the strategic force behind our major leap in the defence industry and IDEF; and to our esteemed President Prof. Dr. Haluk Görgün, who stood by us with his support at every stage of the process.

I would also like to thank the General Staff; the Land, Naval, and Air Forces Commands; the Gendarmerie General Command; the General Directorate of Security; and the Coast Guard Command for their contributions and support throughout the organization process. I extend my appreciation to all Foundation companies that have become global leaders in their designated strategic fields and to their valuable executives for their cooperation and support.

I offer my heartfelt thanks to all employees of the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation who have worked tirelessly behind the scenes of the IDEF organization for nearly two years, to all our stakeholders and subcontractors—especially KFA Fuarcılık Inc.—and to our young colleagues who carried out operational duties in the field. Together, we transformed an intensity that could only be managed with national passion and dedication into a rewarding shared fatigue.

Being fully aware of the responsibility of the duty we perform and the trust entrusted to us, we give thanks to God for granting us the opportunity to serve our nation and our state. As the Turkish Armed Forces Foundation, we will continue to work with determination toward the goal of a fully independent defence industry, always prioritizing the unity and solidarity of our army and nation and the security of our country.
